Barry Saunders, Founder

Owner Barry L. Saunders was born and raised in Lancaster, Pa. He attended J.P. McCaskey High School in Lancaster and entered the United States Marine Corps in 1970. During his 12-year tour, he served as a Marine Recruiter stationed in Lancaster, Pa., and throughout North Central Ohio. After leaving the Marine Corps in 1982 and returning to Lancaster, Barry acquired his Real Estate License. This opportunity gave him a unique understanding of the Real Estate Market and a better appreciation of the efforts put forth by local Realtors/Brokers in the sale of Real Estate. In the mid-1980s, Barry began pursuing a new career in the Pest Control Industry. After serving the local community as an Orkin and Terminix Pest Control employee, Barry decided to venture out in 1992.

Vernon Gordon, President

Vernon graduated from Elizabethtown Area High School in 1988. After high school, Vernon enlisted in the Army and served his country as a Sergeant in the Army National Guard and Pennsylvania National Guard. He loves football and is an avid sportsman. Vernon has been a member of the Tele-Pest team since 1997 and has been the acting Service Manager for the past 15 years. The State of Pennsylvania licenses him to apply pesticides and termiticides. He is fully trained to furnish you with quality service and the treatment you need for various pest problems.

Sara Saunders, Vice President of Operations

Sara (Barry's youngest daughter) graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1999. Sara lives in Lancaster and entered the family business directly after school. Sara has many titles with the company. They include Office Manager, Administrator, and Receptionist. Sara is responsible for scheduling the thousands of clients we serve each year and ensuring a smooth transition between the call and the actual performance of the service.

Carrie Cadavid- Administrative Assistant

Carrie, a lifelong Lancaster County resident and Solanco graduate from the Class of 2000, is a highly organized and professional team member at Tele-Pest Inc since 2021. She is committed to providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive experience for every client.

James Turner - Bed Bug Specialist & Sales

James is originally from Houston, Texas but now resides in Lancaster County. He has three amazing kids, a loving wife and four crazy cats. He has been with Tele-Pest Inc. since 2020 and loves what he does and hopes to make it a lifelong career.

LARRINGTON (LARRY) LINTON - LICENSED PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Larrington (Larry) Linton , a native of Jamaica, began his career as a pest control technician in 1997. After gaining years of experience in the field, he established his own pest control business in 2000. He later migrated to the United States, where he continue pursuing his passion for pest control. Since 2023, he has been working as a licensed pest control technician with Tele-Pest Inc. Larry is a dedicated and detail-oriented professional who values quality over quantity in his work. He is jovial and enjoys engaging with people and building meaningful connections.
